For over 36 years Bob and Barb designed and created wooden game boards in Lititz and Columbia, Pa. In January 2020 Bob and Barb moved to their dream home in Lebanon Pa, a 1847 Stone House built by the Colemans of the Cornwall Iron Furnace. Known as the East Plantation, the Checkerboard Carriage House is now the home of Ridge Hollow Game Boards.
Barb earned a BA degree in Fine Arts/Design in 1977. Her painting is greatly influenced by her Pennsylvania German heritage. Barb also credits her mother Marion, a talented folk artist for instilling in her a deep appreciation and love of early americana. Bob grew up with 6 brothers and sisters on a dairy farm in Lancaster Co., Pa. Bob is a retired stone mason and a skilled woodworker. A lifetime of collecting antiques and primatives, Bob appreciates the detail in crafting antique reproduction game boards
